1. What are the necessary requirements for renting?
DRIVING LICENSE, ID OR PASSPORT (REAL DOCUMENTS) DRIVING LICENSE WITH MORE THAN 18 MONTHS AND MORE THAN 20 YEARS OLD (WITH A FEW EXCEPTIONS).
2. How is the rental period charged?

The minimum rental period is 48 hours - 2 days, if you like for just one day, the price it's the same for the 2 days. The longer the rental duration and up to a certain limit, the shorter each day will be.

3. Booking
When you make your booking, you will recive an automatic response (PENDING), you have to wait for our Central to CONFIRM and send you all information to guarantee your booking (This amount is deducted from the total booking amount). All reserve data must be duly completed and correspond to the act of survey of the car. If this does not happen the reservation will be automatically cancelled and without refund. Confirmed reservations have a maximum duration pending collection of 1H, after this duration without any notice of delay, the reservation is automatically cancelled.

 not refund. Only in case of canceation after payment has been made and cancel within 24H. 
4. How should I proceed in the event of a malfunction?

Flashrent complies with the automakers preventive and corrective maintenance plan, but sometimes unforeseen events can happen. You can call Travel Assistance (24H) contracted under our policy.

5. How should I proceed in case of an accident?
In the event of an accident, please point out the contact details of those involved and witnesses. If there is an intervention by a third party, you must correctly fill out the friendly declaration. You must call the police 112 authorities and call FlashRent - Rent A Car to inform them of what happened.
6. How and when to make the payment?
You can pay using the Debit Card, MBWay or in cash (cash in euros). Payment must be made when picking up the vehicle.
After collecting the car, only in very specific cases ( in case of accident or sudden illness, or in case of anomaly with the vehicle and there is no availability of fleet for replacement) we can refund all or part of the reservation payment. As our Policy is NO CREDIT CARD, all customers who wish to pay by CREDIT CARD can, but will have to pay the applicable fees.
7. Am I sure that I will receive the vehicle I have chosen?
Reservations are always confirmed by segment. When renting, FlashRent - Rent A Car, always tries to deliver the chosen vehicle. If this is not possible, we will deliver another one with the characteristics of the same group or higher.
8. What about the cleaning and refuel the vehicle?
All information is mentioned in the rental contract and by the employee. In the absence of these same conditions, additional costs will be incurred. *Flashrent does not provide cleaning, and this is not included in the daily rates. Cleaning and disinfection are carried out by a specialized company. Cleaning and disinfection are as important as the safety of our vehicles. The value presented corresponding to each group is debited from the deposit. Remember that we are a Car Rental Company and not a Car Wash.* The fuel must be delivered in the same way, otherwise, the respective fueling fee in force will be charged.
 
9. Can I return the car in Lisbon?

Yes, but an additional travel fee will be charged (ONE WAY).

10. Extend the rental contract
Extensions can only be made in person. The rental contract provides a grace period of 30 minutes. After this period, the additional value corresponds to periods of 24 hours.
11. Smoking inside Cars
SMOKING IS PROHIBITED inside FlashRent vehicles. Checking signs on the vehicle that demonstrate such conduct determines the payment of a fine by the Customer.
12. VIA VERDE - Tolls Road Portugal
All FlashRent Vehicles are equipped with Via Verde electronic device according to Portuguese Law Decree-Law No. 84-C/2022. In Article 27. 
13. Who can drive FlashRent vehicles

The only person authorized to drive the vehicle are those listed on the rental agreement as the primary driver or additional drivers.

14. Do I need to bring a baby chair?
FlashRent has all models/groups of child seats. This must be requested when making your reservation.
15. Can I pickup/return the car outside Working hours?
YES, after CONFIRMATION from our Central by EMAIL. This after hours sevice applies: Monday to Friday after 7pm until 10pm or before 9am. Saturtays after 1pm until 6pm or before 10am. Sundays and Holidays day (Pickup available from 1pm to 6pm).
16. CROSS BODER - Departure From PORTUGAL

To drive your car outside the Country (Spain only), you have to inform our Team in advance and pay for the extra fee CROSS-BORDER.
If there is no such information, the driver will be subject to pay a fine, conditions set out in the Rental Contract.

17. Negligence
ALL FLASHRENT VEHICLES ARE ALWAYS INSPECTED, CLEANED AND DISINFECTED FOR ALL CUSTOMERS. WE PROVIDE THE BEST CARE AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES SO THAT ALL CUSTOMERS HAVE A SAFE HOLIDAY. WHEN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION VEHICLES ARE UNAVAILABLE, WE ASK YOU TO BE AWARE OF WHETHER YOU REALLY KNOW HOW TO DRIVE A MANUAL TRANSMISSION. IN THE EVENT OF "STOP" OR COMPLETE LOSS OF THE CLUTCH, THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT AND REPLACEMENT.
