1. What are the necessary requirements for renting?
Carteira de motorista, RG ou Passaporte (Documentos reais e com foto). Carteira de motorista com mais de 18 meses e mais de 20 anos.
2. How is the rental period charged?
O período mínimo de locação é de 48 horas, ou seja, 2 dias. Quanto maior a duração do aluguel e até um certo limite, menor será a diária.
3. Booking
When you make your booking, you will recive an automatic response (PENDING), you have to wait for our Central to CONFIRM and send you all information to guarantee your booking (This amount is deducted from the total booking amount).
Confirmed reservations have a maximum duration pending collection of 1H, after this duration without any notice of delay, the reservation is automatically canceled.
Cancelation
 not refund. Only in case of canceation after payment has been made and cancel within 24H. 
4. How should I proceed in the event of a malfunction?
A FlashRent - Rent A Car cumpre o plano de manutenção preventiva e corretiva das montadoras, mas por vezes podem acontecer imprevistos. Pode ligar para a Assistência em Viagem (24H) contratada na nossa apólice.
5. How should I proceed in case of an accident?
In the event of an accident, please point out the contact details of those involved and witnesses. If there is an intervention by a third party, you must correctly fill out the friendly declaration. You must call the police 112 authorities and call FlashRent - Rent A Car to inform them of what happened.
6. How and when to make the payment?
You can pay using the Debit Card, MBWay or in cash (cash in euros). Payment must be made when picking up the vehicle.
After collecting the car, only in very specific cases ( in case of accident or sudden illness, or in case of anomaly with the vehicle and there is no availability of fleet for replacement) we can refund all or part of the reservation payment. As our Policy is NO CREDIT CARD, all customers who wish to pay by CREDIT CARD can, but will have to pay the applicable fees.
7. Am I sure that I will receive the vehicle I have chosen?
Reservations are always confirmed by segment. When renting, FlashRent - Rent A Car, always tries to deliver the chosen vehicle. If this is not possible, we will deliver another one with the characteristics of the same group or higher.
8. What about the cleaning and refuel the vehicle?
Todas as informações são mencionadas no contrato de aluguer e pelo colaborador. Na ausência destas mesmas condições, serão incorridos custos adicionais. *A Flashrent - Rent A Car não fornece a limpeza, e não está incluída nas tarifas diárias. A limpeza e desinfeção são efetuadas por uma Empresa especializada. A limpeza e desinfeção são tão importantes como a segurança das nossas viaturas. O valor apresentado correspondente a cada grupo, é debitado da caução. Lembramos que somos uma Empresa de Aluguer de Automóveis e não uma Lavagem de Automóveis. *Caso o combustível não seja entregue da mesma forma, a Flashrent Rent A Car cobrará a respetiva taxa de abastecimento em vigor.
9. Can I return the car in Lisbon?

Sim, mas uma taxa de viagem adicional será cobrada (One Way).

10. Extend the rental contract
Extensions can only be made in person. The rental contract provides a grace period of 30 minutes. After this period, the additional value corresponds to periods of 24 hours.
11. Smoking inside Cars
SMOKING IS PROHIBITED inside FlashRent vehicles. The verification of signs in the vehicle that show such conduct determines the payment by the Customer of a penalty (400€).
12. VIA VERDE - Tolls Road Portugal
All FlashRent Vehicles are equipped with Via Verde electronic device according to Portuguese Law Decree-Law No. 84-C/2022. In Article 27. 
13. Who can drive FlashRent vehicles
As únicas pessoas autorizadas a dirigir o veículo são aquelas listadas no contrato de locação como motorista principal ou motoristas adicionais.
14. Do I need to bring a baby chair?
FlashRent has all models/groups of child seats. This must be requested when making your reservation.
15. Can I pickup/return the car outside Working hours?
YES, after CONFIRMATION from our Central by EMAIL.
THIS AFTER HOURS SERVICE IS APPLIED:
MONDAY TO FRIDAY FROM 7pm to 10pm or before 9am.
SATURDAYS FROM 1pm to 9pm or before 10am.
SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS (PICKUP AVAILABLE FROM 1pm to 9pm)
YOU WILL FIND THIS SERVICE IN THE EXTRAS FIELD THAT YOU MUST ALWAYS INCLUDE IN YOUR BOOKING.
16. CROSS BODER - Departure From PORTUGAL
Para conduzir o seu carro fora do país (Espanha), você precisa informar a empresa de aluguel de carros com antecedência e pagar uma taxa de passagem internacional.
Caso não haja tal informação, o condutor fica sujeito a uma multa de (100€), condições que constam no seu contrato de aluguer.

17. Do I have confirmation of my reservation immediately?
Não, sua reserva fica pendente por 24h, com exceções quando feita após 13h de Sábado ou Domingo. Nossa Central de Reservas responderá com as correções necessárias quando aplicadas e dará todas as informações para garantir sua reserva.
